Club Policy

General Rules

  • Respect: Treat coaches, fellow boxers, facilities, and equipment with respect at all times.
  • Punctuality: Arrive on time for every training session.
  • Hygiene & Equipment Care: Keep the gym tidy. Wipe down and correctly store all equipment after use.
  • Appropriate Attire: Wear suitable clothing and mandatory protective gear (headgear, mouth-guard, etc.).
  • Financial Obligations: Pay membership and training fees promptly.
  • Communication: Inform coaches/partners immediately about any injuries, discomfort, or incidents.
  • Bullying & Misconduct: Bullying, harassment, or any form of misconduct will not be tolerated.

Sparring Rules

  • Supervision: Sparring must be overseen by a Level 2 coach (or by a Level 1 coach when a Level 2 is present in the gym).
  • Mandatory Protective Gear: Headgear, mouth-guards, and any additional protection (e.g., groin protectors for men) are compulsory.
  • Controlled Practice: Sparring is for skill development, not uncontrolled aggression.
  • Safety First: Never attempt to harm your sparring partner; always prioritise mutual safety.
  • No Mouth-guard, No Sparring: This rule is strictly enforced for safety.

Club Ethos

  • Create a safe, respectful, and friendly environment for everyone.
  • Promote fair competition, prevent injuries, and foster a strong sense of community.
  • All training is carried out responsibly and under proper supervision.
  • No parents allowed in the gym during training sessions.

Coaching Staff Responsibilities

  • Safety: Maintain a safe training environment.
  • Instruction: Provide clear, effective coaching and feedback.
  • Supervision: Monitor all sessions (especially sparring) and enforce club rules.
  • Injury Reporting: Record any injuries in the accident book and inform a coach immediately.

Club Policy

Membership & Conduct

  • All members must complete a signed liability waiver before training.
  • Respect coaches, staff, and fellow members at all times. Abuse of equipment or bullying won’t be tolerated.
  • Arrive 10 minutes before class start; late arrivals may not be admitted for safety reasons.
  • A valid photo ID must be shown upon request for membership confirmation.

Attendance & Cancellation

  • Adult memberships include 5 sessions + sparring per week; U-16 memberships include 3 sessions + sparring.
  • To cancel or pause your membership, notify us in writing at least 7 days before your next billing date.
  • No-shows for booked private lessons will incur a 50% cancellation fee if not canceled 24 hours in advance.

Safety & Equipment

  • Hand wraps, gloves, and headgear must be sanitized before and after use (sanitiser stations are provided).
  • Only approved boxing shoes or clean athletic trainers allowed in the ring area.
  • No jewelry (rings, watches, necklaces) permitted while training or sparring.
  • If you feel unwell or injured, inform your coach immediately—no sparring without coach approval.

Privacy & Media

  • We respect your privacy. Personal data is used solely for membership management and billing.
  • Our coaches may take photos/videos for social media; if you’d rather not appear, notify the team.
